“If you can’t stay awake, just close your eyes. I can’t sleep now.” Hikari wasn’t tired at all, even if her day was exhausting. She didn’t really know what did excite her that much between being alone in a hotel room with a guy she knew since ages for the first time of her life or being in her boyfriend’s arms.

Maybe she couldn’t sleep because she was thinking about her family, probably worried about her. She just left a note saying she wouldn’t be back home before a while. They sure tried to call her a hundred time, but she forgot her phone in her bedroom.

Hikari closed her eyes, wondering. No, she didn’t feel like falling asleep. She just trying to answer to the thousand questions which were running in her head.

“Hm?” Yamato came back to his senses after spacing out momentarily. “Oh no, I’m not that sleepy. I’m just a little exhausted from a long day at work and all the driving. I’ll be fully recharged once I get some rest.”

Yamato hugged her tighter and let himself get lost in this moment; the moment when he felt that he was wanted and loved by at least someone, especially after going through so much hell over the past few months. Wrapping his arms around Hikari and having himself being wrapped around Hikari’s arms, he felt… Alive.

“Hikari, I’m sorry but you’ll have to excuse me for a moment…” Yamato politely excused himself and stood up from the bed, heading towards the closet and took his shirt off. As much as he would prefer keeping his shirt on, he had always preferred being indoors without a shirt on.

Once done, he joined Hikari back on the bed but instead of lying down immediately, he gave her a smile and then kissed her on the lips. He didn’t know what had happened, but his body moved automatically, and now he was on top of her, still engaging in the long, passionate kiss he’d been yearning for ages.

Hikari could feel her heartbeats. From now on, Yamato was just on the top of her. She could feel his breath. She stared at his eyes for seconds then kissed his lips back. “I trust you.” She said with a little smile.

Her position wasn’t comfortable anymore. Hikari grabbed Yamato’s face and kissed his lips again while sitting up, making her position more comfortable. But she was a bit scared. What if Yamato suddenly lost control? Hikari didn’t want to do it before her wedding. At all.

And this feeling. Even if she took a deep breath many times, it didn’t want to disappear.

Slowly, the lights of the room were turned on and the audience started to stand up.

Tai blinked a few times, his eyes had gotten used to the darkness of the cinema. An empty bag of popcorns on his hand and a smile plastered on his face. The boy looked at his younger sister.

“Well, that was a good film for sure!”

He stood up and drank from his cup of coke. Then, the boy offered his arm to Hikari, smiling.

“So, milady, I guess it’s time for lunch!” he chuckled, walking to the door. “You choose, I pay. So, we’ll go wherever you want!”

Taichi smiled and wrapped her sister’s shoulders tightly.

“Uh, let’s see. I never ate foreign countries food. Like korean, or chinese, or african, or lebanese food.” She chuckled. ” Just American food!”

Hikari grabbed Taichi’s hand and swung it. “Well, you’re going to travel to Paris, right?” Hikari smiled at her brother. “Then let’s travel together by eating some french food! Do you know any restaurant around there?”

Tai though about her idea. “French food… yum!” He squeezed her hand and smiled. “There’s a french restaurant near here… I don’t know the name though.”

They walked out and Tai looked around the street, deciding which was the correct direction.

“I’m pretty sure it’s over there…”

“How does the restaurant look like outside?”. Hikari looked around too. “Maybe it can help to find it”. If only they had a map with them!

“Look there!” She ran to a corner. “A map. This’s the plan of the district!” She searched the symbol of the restaurant. There was too many, she didn’t know which was the one they’re trying to find.

“So we’re here… maybe it’s this restaurant, mh?” She pointed a restaurant which was at the right-hand side. “And look at the name, it sounds french!”
